Your online Thai language classes are provided by Patong Language School, based in Phuket, Thailand. As Thailand’s leading private language school we have the knowledge and resources to ensure your learning success. PLS was founded in 1983 and has taught the Thai language to thousands of students since then.
We produce our own Thai study materials and tailor them to individual student needs and goals. Some students want to learn conversational Thai, while others want to learn to read and/or write the Thai language. We can accommodate them all – our developed and proven methods will have you speaking and maybe reading Thai very soon!

Rattanaporn Pimsuwan
Rattanaporn Pimsuwan (Khun Bee)
General Manager
Khun Bee trained in accounting and worked with production teams on the making of many movies before moving into the language learning industry. She has managed Patong Language School since 1997 and oversees and schedules a staff of around 25 foreign and Thai teachers, administration staff and ancillary employees.

Marketing and IT
Ian is responsible for marketing the school’s language and teacher training products, and making sure that all the hardware and software works the way it is supposed to.
Krisikan Thapana
Krisikan Thapana (Khun Tin)
Thai teacher
Tin graduated from Ramkamhaeng University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. She is our most experienced Thai teacher, having been with us now for 15 years! As well as teaching Thai to foreigners, Tin is also involved in material preparation and teacher training.

Sutharee Lekkla (Khun Bee)
Thai teacher
Bee graduated from Rajabhat University, Chiang Mai, with a degree in Art and Social Science, majoring in Tourism. She worked in the hotel industry for many years before coming to work for PLS in 2010.
Yingsak Surawanobol
Yingsak Surawanobol (Khun Boyd)
Thai teacher
Boyd spent more than 8 years teaching in Bangkok before coming to work for PLS. He graduated from Rajabhat University, Dhanburi, with a degree in English and apart from having the odd job in hotels, has always wanted to be a teacher and work in education.
Waralee Plukmaidee
Waralee Plukmaidee (Khun Nim)
Thai teacher
Khun Nim has worked for PLS as a Thai teacher for 2 years now. She graduated from Rajabhat University, Phuket, with a Batchelors Degree in English and went on to work as a tour operator for 3 years. After spending a further 2 years in the property market, Nim joined our school and quickly became a part of the family.
